BODYARMOR was founded in 2011 by Mike Repole as a better-for-you sports drink with no artificial dyes, flavors or sweeteners. Its drinks are made with potassium-rich electrolytes, antioxidants and coconut water. Its partners and Team BODYARMOR include the Dude Perfect trick-shot group and Barstool Sports. The Coca-Cola Company acquired full ownership of BODYARMOR in 2021.
